What a Year-Ahead Reading Is Actually For
What they are usually after is not a forecast but a sense of shape - whether the difficult stretch is at the start or the end, and whether the thing they are dreading is the thing that actually matters.
Why It Is Read as a Sequence
Twelve cards read separately give you twelve unrelated statements, which is a horoscope. Read as a sequence, they show something more useful: where pressure builds and where it releases, which months are consequences of earlier ones, and where the same thing keeps reappearing under different circumstances.
That is also why the reading includes an overview rather than just the twelve. The overview is where the pattern gets named, and it is the part people quote back to me a year later.
The Months You Are Told to Leave Alone
Most readings of this kind identify one or two stretches where the honest advice is to do nothing significant. Not because something bad is coming, but because decisions made in those months tend to be made under a pressure that will have passed by the following one.
People find this the most practically useful part, and it is the part that no general forecast can give them, because it depends entirely on where they are standing now.
When to Order It
Any time. The twelve months run from the date of the reading, not from January - a year that starts in September is no less useful than one that starts in the new year, and it is usually more relevant, because you ordered it in September for a reason.
What This Will Not Do
It will not give you dates, it will not tell you what a specific person will do in March, and it is not a substitute for a decision. If you have one urgent question about one situation, a focused reading answers it properly for less money and I will tell you so.
