What This Will Not Do

It will not tell you whether you will get the job, it will not name a salary, and it will not predict what your manager is going to do. It reads the decision and what is operating around it, which is a smaller claim and a more honest one.

Career guidance reading or workplace protection: two different problems

These two services get confused because both involve a job you are unhappy in, and they address opposite situations. The reading is for a decision you are able to make and have not made. Workplace protection is for a situation you cannot leave and have to survive in the meantime.

The question that separates them: could you leave this month if you decided to? If the answer is yes and something is stopping you from deciding, that is this reading, and forty-seven dollars is the cheapest way to get an outside view of it. If the answer is no - a visa, a notice period, eleven months until something vests - then no reading changes that, and the useful service is the one that makes the interim bearable.
