Every message is answered within 24 hours, including the ones where my answer is that I cannot help. If nothing has arrived by then, check your spam folder before assuming I ignored you - it is almost always there.

What to put in it

First names, roughly what happened and when, and what you are hoping changes. If you are already looking at a particular service, say which one. Vague messages get vague answers, and neither of us gains anything from that exchange.

Confidentiality

What you write stays between us. I do not discuss cases with anyone, I do not publish them as examples, and I do not put your name on this site. If you would rather write from an address that is not your everyday one, that is a reasonable thing to do and it changes nothing on my end.
