Why This Is the Better Moment
Before that, none of that has hardened yet. The connection is still live. What’s sitting on it is resentment, distance, exhaustion and a stack of conversations that went badly - and that clears more readily than a decision does.
If you can feel it going and you’re reading this at two in the morning, you’re at the right moment and I’d rather work with you now.
Who This Is For
The conversations have gone thin and polite. Physical closeness has stopped without either of you naming it. They’re spending more time elsewhere. Something has shifted and neither of you has said what. Or they’ve said the sentence - I don’t know if I still want this - and nothing has happened since.
Who This Is Not For
If they’ve already ended it. Then it’s the Bring Back Ex Spell, and I’ll say so.
If you’re being asked to stay somewhere harmful. Not every relationship should be saved. If what comes through in your intake is a situation where staying costs you more than leaving would, I’ll tell you that honestly - and I’d rather lose the order.
What the Work Involves
Assessment. What’s actually eroding it. It’s usually not the thing being argued about; more often it’s something older underneath that the arguments are standing in for.
A 10-14 day working. [E] Clearing what has accumulated in the connection - resentment, the residue of repeated arguments, the specific weight of things said and not taken back - before doing anything to strengthen the bond. Strengthening a connection full of that just holds you both in place more firmly.
A written report with observations and practical guidance for the weeks afterwards.
30 days of support.
What I’ll Ask of You
More here than in most services, because you’re both still present and what you do matters.
Don’t force conversations while the work is running. Don’t issue ultimatums. Don’t announce that you’ve had something done - this is the single most common way clients undo their own results.
Behave as the version of yourself that existed before the anxiety started. That’s the person they chose, and it’s the one the work is trying to make room for.
Realistic Timeline
Days 1-14: during the working, the most common report is that the atmosphere lightens before anything is discussed. Fewer sharp edges, easier silences.
Weeks 2-6: conversation opens up. Often the first sign is a conversation about something completely unrelated that simply goes well.
Beyond six weeks: if nothing has shifted at all, write to me during your follow-up period. Sometimes it means a second working; sometimes it means being honest that the decision was made before you found me.
