What a Cord Is
That’s what this work addresses.
Who This Is For
You’ve ended a relationship but can’t stop thinking about the person. You’ve gone no contact and still feel tethered. There’s a family member whose influence you feel even at a distance. You’ve moved on in every practical sense and something still won’t let go.
Who This Is Not For
Anyone hoping this will make the other person miss them. It does the opposite. Cord cutting releases the connection - it doesn’t strengthen it. If you want reconciliation, you want the reunion work, not this.
I turn down more orders for this service than for any other, almost always because the person actually wants the opposite of what they’re buying. If that’s your situation, say so in the intake and I’ll redirect you before charging you.
What the Ritual Involves
Assessment first. Not every attachment is a cord. Sometimes what feels like one is ordinary grief, which doesn’t need cutting - it needs time. I’ll tell you which I find.
A seven-day working, timed to the waning moon, using severance techniques with cleansing to close what’s opened. Cutting without sealing leaves you raw, which is why this is a week rather than an evening.
A written completion report describing what was found, what was performed, and what to expect.
30 days of email follow-up support.
Realistic Timeline
Days 1-7: During the working, most people report unusually vivid dreams involving the person. This is normal and typically the most intense part.
Weeks 1-3: The change is usually described as an absence rather than an event - you notice you haven’t thought about them in a while.
Beyond three weeks: Long or deeply enmeshed attachments sometimes need a second working. I’ll say during the assessment if I think yours is one of them.
An Honest Note
Cord cutting doesn’t make you stop loving someone and it doesn’t delete the relationship from your history. What it removes is the compulsive quality - the pull that operates independently of what you’ve decided.
Several clients have described it as finally being able to remember someone without it costing them anything.
